Engagement Portraits in Elora| Waterloo Portrait Studio

It has been an amazing summer so far with some incredible clients.  Recently we had the pleasure of working with Drew and Sarah in Elora for their engagement portraits. As you can see, we had a special guest and he was kind of stealing the spotlight from his parents!  I think Keelor was just happy that we were heading down to the river so he could play in the water.

We are thrilled to be working with Drew and Sarah as they plan and prep for their wedding next June in Waterloo.  It was a perfect evening for an engagement session, can’t wait for the wedding day!

Chicopee Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

Mark and Andrea had the perfect day for a wedding on the ski hills of Chicopee on Sunday, we had a wee bit of rain just as the outdoor ceremony ended, but otherwise a great last weekend of summer!

These two are an amazing couple and made sure their close friends and family where involved in their special day. A truly touching moment was when they had their grandmothers sign their marriage license. What a great way to start their new journey, here is a sneak peak of their day:

Perfect Night for Engagement Session | Waterloo Portrait Studio

I can’t believe we are already into August, it has to be one of my favourite months to shoot, so I will be enjoying these long warm nights (well hopefully the warm part comes soon) while they last.

Meg and Doug are an amazing couple and I have had the joy of knowing them for a couple of years now, they will be tying the knot this coming January. I will be standing up with them as one of their bridesmaids, so this means for the first time in a while I will not be behind the lens at a wedding. My amazing side kick Danielle Wilson who works with me on almost all weddings will have the pleasure of capturing their day. Last night the two of us got to work together with Meg and Doug and had a blast in Elora and some random fields. Here is one of my favourite images from their session:

Amazing Waterloo Wedding| Waterloo Portrait Studio

This weekend reminds me of the perfect weather we had in April for Jessica and Josh’s wedding day.  I am just finishing up their proof album and just love their wedding images.  I have had the joy of knowing Jessica for years when she was just a teenager, a lot has changed and I couldn’t be more honoured to be the photographer on her wedding day.

These two just melt my heart as they have some much love for each other.  I wish them all the best in their new adventure as a married couple.

Winter Engagement | Waterloo Portrait Studio

What a beautiful but cold weekend we just had, I had the pleasure of shooting Josh and Jess for their engagement portraits. We have been planning this session for awhile, but the weather just hasn’t been working with us. Even though it was freezing outside these two were amazing and so much fun to photograph, I can’t wait for their wedding in April.

Winter Wonderland Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

It has been a wonderful Christmas Holiday and I have enjoyed the extra time with my family and friends.  This was a special year as Erika and Chris had their wedding on Dec 31st, 2012 New Years Eve! It was a perfect day for a winter wedding with a fresh snow fall and temperature weren’t to cold.

I was honoured to share in their special and have the opportunity to photograph them! Erika was a stunning bride and looked just like a hollywood movie star.  The Cambridge Mill was the perfect setting for their evening ceremony.  Here are a couple of sneak peeks from their special day.

Milton Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

I truly love my job when I get to photograph amazing couples like Warren and Laura. We were in Milton at the Rattle Snake Golf Course for their beautiful wedding day, it was a perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. We had a some great moments through the day, but one of the best had to be the wedding party entry dance! Well done guys.

I have had the pleasure to get to know these two over the past year and I can’t tell you how inspiring they are as individuals and a couple. I was honoured to share in their special day and wish them all the best on their new journey together. Here is a couple of sneak peeks from their wedding day.

Waterloo Summer Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

What an amazing way to officially kick off summer, the weather was beautiful for Michelle and Brad’s wedding day.  I have had the pleasure of knowing both of them for a couple of years and was honoured to photograph their wedding day.  Here are a couple of sneak peeks from the day.

Kitchener Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

It was a bit of a crazy weekend with the weather but we totally lucked out for Anne and Will’s wedding this past Sunday.  Perfect overcast clouds at the Walper Terrace Hotel and a little rain shower perfectly timed as we entered the hall for their reception.  Here are a couple of sneak peeks from their wedding day.

Waterloo Winter Wedding | Waterloo Portrait Studio

What a great weekend for a winter wedding! I had the pleasure to photograph Ian and Amber’s big day on Saturday and it was truly a beautiful day from start to finish. I get the chance to work with some amazing couples, telling their story and capturing it for them to share with family and friends for years to come. It is one of my favourite parts of my job, the only thing that makes it better is when I get to share a couples story that I have known for a long time.

Congratulations to you both, it was a beautiful day filled with wonderful moments.
