First wedding of the season and this one was extra special set in beautiful town in Michigan. I am always thankful for my clients and their confidence in me to bring them beautiful portraits that capture and tell their story. This weekend I had to put my camera down and let my amazing team take over as my cousin married the love of his life. I loved being a part of their special day and that both Danielle and Jillian could make the travel to take care of all the photographs.
What a beautiful but cold weekend we just had, I had the pleasure of shooting Josh and Jess for their engagement portraits. We have been planning this session for awhile, but the weather just hasn’t been working with us. Even though it was freezing outside these two were amazing and so much fun to photograph, I can’t wait for their wedding in April.
It has been a wonderful Christmas Holiday and I have enjoyed the extra time with my family and friends. This was a special year as Erika and Chris had their wedding on Dec 31st, 2012 New Years Eve! It was a perfect day for a winter wedding with a fresh snow fall and temperature weren’t to cold.
I was honoured to share in their special and have the opportunity to photograph them! Erika was a stunning bride and looked just like a hollywood movie star. The Cambridge Mill was the perfect setting for their evening ceremony. Here are a couple of sneak peeks from their special day.
Well we might have had to deal with some rain and cold weather but Chad and Kim made the best of their wedding day! They are such an amazing couple to work with I have enjoyed getting to know them over the past year and being able to photograph their wedding.
Congratulations to Nick and Cindy, their wedding day was amazing! These two are one of the sweetest couples, they give you butterflies when they look at each other. Photographing them was truly a treat, we had a blast using downtown Cambridge for some fun and unique images. Here is a sneak peek:
Wedding session officially arrived! We were out this past weekend with Cindy and Nick who are getting married in September. We were excited to head to Elora with them but mother nature thought a thunderstorm would be a good idea on Saturday, so we decided to head out on Sunday instead. After some time in the gorge we headed to another great spot in Elora. I am looking forward to their wedding this coming fall!
As the snow melts away and the rain clouds move in to wash away the mud and bring out all the beautiful colours of spring, we are reminded that wedding season is just around the corner! We are so excited about our wedding clients for 2011 and can’t wait to get outside and photograph. We have had the pleasure over the last few years of working with www.theweddingring.ca. They are an amazing company that gives the consumer a real review of different companies in the wedding industry. Check out our review and feel free to leave a comment too!
I just returned from the Professional Photographers of Ontario convention and was truly honored to receive two awards. I won the Portrait category for “The Creature Within” and won the Wedding Album category for “Lydia and Neil’s Wedding Day”. I am truly honored to receive these awards from my fellow photographer peers. Thank you to all my clients that make my job the most amazing job in the world.
“The Creature Within”
I just received notice that one of our wedding albums scored an award of Merit in the Professional Photographers of Ontario Image Competition! This is the first time we have submitted a wedding album, we are so excited it scored so well.
The wedding album was from Lydia and Neil’s wedding this past summer. Their wedding was held downtown Toronto at the Captiol Event Theatre. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to photograph as well as an amazing wedding party and couple.
Here are a couple of pages from the album, we just wanted to share our exciting news! Thanks to all our amazing customers that make our job the best one in the world.
Congratulations to Bonnie and Stephen who celebrated their wedding on Saturday. It was a wonderful day filled with tons of family and friends. It might have been a little chilly outside but they were amazing and we had a blast photographing them in Waterloo.
I enjoyed all the laughs we had on Saturday and look forward to working with them again!
