What an amazing fall we are having, the Calla Studio team has been busy documenting families this past couple of weeks. So we are lacking in our blogging skills but we defiantly want to share all the amazing families and their beautiful portrait sessions.
We had a great time with the Cressman family in Waterloo, so many great expressions from those two little guys. Lets be honest we all know the kids steal the show! But that is what I love about family portraits is the stories from the day of the session and the time they get to celebrate being with each other creating a little part of their family history.
We had a blast photographing these ladies the other week. There is nothing like going out and spending time with your friends and having a custom photo shoot, we might have had a few rain drops to dodge but that didn’t dampen their spirits.
I can see these ladies in 50 years from now, talking about this day and cherishing the memories we created. They were inspiring young women
I just cant seem to get enough of this falls weather and colours, here is another amazing family. I really do have the best job in the world and wouldnt change a thing.
Another beautiful family session! I just love when I get chatting with families and they tell me about their amazing stories. Dad inherited this car from his uncle and spent the last couple of year restoring it to it full beauty. He has done a brilliant job and I can’t wait for them to see all the images from their session.
I just can’t get enough of all these amazing families, we had the pleasure of photographing these two little guys and the were so much fun. Who doesn’t like to finish a photo shoot off with some leave throwing.
I just can’t get enough of all the amazing colours this fall, we have been busy taking full advantage of the perfect fall weather. I just hope this holds on for a little longer so we can fit everyone in for their upcoming sessions. Here is a little peek at two little sisters.
What a beautiful weekend we just had, the weather was picture perfect on Saturday, good thing as we had our first Portraits in the Park sessions. This little guy was a gem, he just turned one and we have had the pleasure to photograph him throughout his first year. Every time I see these littles ones I am shocked just how fast a year can fly by. Here is a little sneak peek from his portrait session.
I can’t believe we are at the end of September and I am getting ready to do the CIBC Run for the Cure tomorrow. I have had the pleasure of attending this amazing event with my friend Ashley and her family. Her mom is a breast cancer survivor and we do this walk every year to raise money and celebrate her being here with us. I can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow in their pink wear, so dig out some pink tomorrow and wear it on honour of someone you know.
I can’t believe we are almost finished with September, time just seems to be slipping by. We have been busy in the studio getting ready for all the fall portraits and kids mini sessions. Here is a little sneak peek from yesterdays session.
Fall is one of my favourite seasons, it is also one of my favourite times to photograph families. This amazing family wanted to capture their memories before their oldest headed off to University. We see a lot of families at this time in their lives, it marks a new beginning for them as their children embark on new own paths.
