2012 continues to be a baby boom year for us here at the studio, we have enjoyed meeting so many  little ones recently.  This little guy was no exception as he was so relaxed and happy during his photo shoot, we had a wonderful time photographing him and his big sister.

The bunnies have arrived and we are busy chasing them around! This is always a favourite portrait session for our clients, the children just love playing with the bunnies and we have a blast capturing their smiles. Only one day left before the bunnies go home (I think these little bunnies will need a vacation when they get back to the farm).

We are continuing to see beautiful babies coming into the studio this year. Yesterday’s session was no exception as she was just a wonderful little girl to photograph. She has these amazing blue eyes and wanted us all to see them as she wasn’t going to sleep no matter how hard mom and dad tried!

In less than a week our Easter Bunnies will be arriving at the studio.  We are almost sold out for this amazing session and ONLY have 6 spots left.  Be sure to call the studio asap to book your little ones before it is too late.

We have been very busy with lots of newborn babies in the studio this past month. Recently we have had several of our Bebe clients hitting their latest milestones as well. Here is the beautiful Lauryn at 9months, it seems like the other day I was her house photographing her as a newborn. I really enjoy watching all our Bebe clients grow and change throughout their first year.

We were so excited to learn that Tina was awarded the best in class for her editorial image from the Professional Photographers of Ontario. This comes as a great honour and we couldn’t wait to share this with everyone, especially with the wonderful people from Matangwe where the image was shot. Tina had the privilege to travel to Kenya this past summer to document the lives and people of Matangwe and how they are dealing with the HIV and AIDS problem.

Spring time is arriving in Calla Studio and you know what that means our bunnies will be arriving!  For three days only the bunnies will be at the studio for you to have your little ones photographed.  These beautiful spring portraits will be ready to gift out to your friends and family for Easter.

What a great weekend for a winter wedding! I had the pleasure to photograph Ian and Amber’s big day on Saturday and it was truly a beautiful day from start to finish. I get the chance to work with some amazing couples, telling their story and capturing it for them to share with family and friends for years to come. It is one of my favourite parts of my job, the only thing that makes it better is when I get to share a couples story that I have known for a long time.

Congratulations to you both, it was a beautiful day filled with wonderful moments.

Well as you have seen on our blog, we have been having the joy to photograph many new babies lately and today’s little one was just simply perfect.  Sarah and Dave were one of our amazing wedding clients, I just love when we get a chance to work with past clients, it is a wonderful experience.

Little Jacob was born a wee bit early but healthy and happy.  He slept through most of his first photo shoot but felt the need to show us his big beautiful eyes in the end.  Congrats to Sarah and Dave on the new addition to your family.
