What a great weekend for a winter wedding! I had the pleasure to photograph Ian and Amber’s big day on Saturday and it was truly a beautiful day from start to finish. I get the chance to work with some amazing couples, telling their story and capturing it for them to share with family and friends for years to come. It is one of my favourite parts of my job, the only thing that makes it better is when I get to share a couples story that I have known for a long time.

Congratulations to you both, it was a beautiful day filled with wonderful moments.

Well as you have seen on our blog, we have been having the joy to photograph many new babies lately and today’s little one was just simply perfect.  Sarah and Dave were one of our amazing wedding clients, I just love when we get a chance to work with past clients, it is a wonderful experience.

Little Jacob was born a wee bit early but healthy and happy.  He slept through most of his first photo shoot but felt the need to show us his big beautiful eyes in the end.  Congrats to Sarah and Dave on the new addition to your family.

It has been just a couple of weeks since the Canadian National Figure Skating Championships were held in Moncton, N.B.  It was a great week filled with excellent skating and memories I know these competitors will have forever.

I wanted to share some of the images from that week as they can only publish a few of them in the Waterloo Chronicle.  Congratulations again to all the skaters and Skate Canada for another successful championships.

January has been the month of babies at Calla Studio, we have been busy photographing all these gorgeous little ones.  Lucy was in today for her 4 month portrait session; there was no shortage of beautiful smiles for me.

Congratulations to Weaver and Poje on a silver medal at the Canadian National Championship.  They were captivating in their free dance and had the audience in tears by the end.  Reaching a new personal best with a score over 106 in the free dance is the perfect way to prepare for the World Championships in France.
