What a great week at Calla Studio we have been busy in the studio and out on location photographing families and kids.  Here is a little sneak peek at this little angels portraits, she was just a dream to photograph as she didn’t care how many times I moved her she just slept through the whole thing.

This is the first mothers day without my grandmother but I was able to go back and find one of my favourite images from our family portraits. I hope everyone spoils their mothers today!

Mothers Day is just around the corner and we want to celebrate moms for everything they do!  They are there for a shoulder to cry on, an extra set of hands to help us and they always have some helpful advice when we need it. We hope you have an amazing Mothers Day!

What a great day we had celebrating women and helping to raise $5200 for Anselma House.  We took part in The Beautiful Me Fashion Show in Elmira on Sunday afternoon.  This is a great event to spend out with you girlfriends or family.  Here is a little clip from the day.

What a great day to raise money for those in need, we are thrilled to be working with The Beautiful Me Fashion Show to help support the Anselma House.  We will be at Lions Hall in Elmira today photographing all the amazing outfits from Fb and Me, Core Clothing, Taylor’s Bridal and many other wonderful stores.  If you want to come out and take part we just have a few spots left and we would love to have you there.

What a great weekend for engagement portraits! I had the pleasure to be out photographing Brad and Michelle over the weekend in St Jacobs. I have known Brad for a long time and had the pleasure of meeting Michelle when they started dating, they are amazing together and I can’t wait for their wedding day.

April is cancer month and I have been wearing my daffodil proudly, I just returned to Ontario after a week in Halifax at the Professional Photographers of Canada national convention.  I was so glad to see that there were still some daffodils alive in my garden I didn’t have a chance to photograph them before I left.

Here is quick shot from last night.  Remember to wear your daffodil to help fight cancer.

We recently had the pleasure to partner with Dawn Snyder and her Arbonne team to help raise money for her good friend & team member that is currently battling breast cancer. They hosted a spa day at the ExpHairtise salon in Fergus and ran specials on manicures, pedicures and facials. We were so excited we could help out for this great cause and congratulate everyone for their amazing talents. We are pleased to hear that Dawns friend is doing well and just finished her last round of chemo.

April 28th is almost here and we can’t wait to see all these amazing dogs in the studio.  We only have 3 spots left before we are sold out for 2012!  We all know our dogs are huge part of our families and pretty much like another child.  You don’t want you little four legged child to feel left out so make sure you book their spot before we are full.  Help us help the KW Humane Society.

We are so excited to announce that Dog Days is coming back to Calla Studio for one day only (April 28th).  Make sure to book your little four leg friend in before we are sold out.  We love helping out animals and we will be giving some much needed help to the KW Human Society, this is a great day for you pet and to help another animal out.  We look forward to seeing you pet on April 28th.
